Shift Operations Manager

Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Superintendent to join our team at the Vancouver Wharves Terminal. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the terminal, including managing day-to-day activities, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate terminal operations, including planning, scheduling, and supervising staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to minimize risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- 5+ years of progressive management/supervisory experience in operations management of unionized work sites.
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven supervisory experience effectively managing people and assets in a manner that ensures overall success and promotes a team attitude and positive working environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work shifts and alternate shift schedules to provide 24/7 terminal management.
