Drywall Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Alberta Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing tenders and quotations, applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster, and installing drywall sheets.

Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets
  • Apply and level coats of plaster
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs as required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
  • Install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets
  • Install steel studs
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
