Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician II plays a key role in the assembly of sterilization equipment, working autonomously to execute precise tasks and ensuring timely and quality execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute complex assembly tasks with minimal supervision, adhering to quality standards and production timelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address technical challenges and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in quality control processes, implementing and overseeing quality checks, and working with the quality assurance team to uphold product standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of manufacturing processes, improvements, and issue resolutions, generating reports on key performance indicators.
  • Oversee routine maintenance of manufacturing equipment, coordinating with maintenance personnel to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Contribute to on-site installation of sterilization equipment, ensuring smooth deployment and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Two or more years of related experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
  • Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering technology, electro-mechanical engineering, or a related field, or four additional years of related experience.
  • Broad knowledge of trade work, including electronics, plumbing, wiring, computers, and PLCs.
  • Knowledge of mechanical construction and the ability to set goals and work cross-functionally with other teams.
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • PREFERRED: knowledge of radiation safety protocols and ability to travel internationally.
