We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Responder to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. As an Emergency Medical Responder, you will provide pre-hospital care for patients, including assessing, patient care, transferring, and transporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide pre-hospital care for patients, including assessing and treating medical emergencies
- Transport patients to medical facilities, ensuring safe and efficient transportation
- Collaborate with emergency medical services teams to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient care and transportation
- Grade 10 education
- Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certificate
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Level C Certificate
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
- First Aid Certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a cross-cultural setting
This is a part-time temporary position with a 0.64 FTE. The expected up-to-date is October 2, 2025. The shift information includes days, nights, evenings, weekends, and standby. The hours of work are 36 shifts of 8 hours per 12 weeks.
Please note that scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
