About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Greenlife Retirement Residence Trenton Inc. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including contractors, staff, and volunteers, to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement quality control processes to ensure projects meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with construction projects to minimize potential losses.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project sponsors, contractors, and team members, to ensure project goals and objectives are understood and achieved.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
