Maintenance Technician

IMI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with other professionals to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily inspections and maintenance tasks on clinic systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and security systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, repairing broken locks, painting, and drywall repair.
- Make recommendations and requests for new maintenance products and equipment as necessary.
- Respond to requests for repairs and arrange for trades-persons to perform repairs as needed.
- Ensure that security and safety measures are in place, including monitoring security systems and performing daily after-hours inspections.
- Move heavy equipment and supplies, install appliances and equipment, and schedule and supervise Service Workers.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and equipment and place orders as required.
- At least 2 years of previous experience working as a Maintenance Technician or in a related field.
- General construction skills, organizational skills, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work in various temperatures and have outstanding thinking and reasoning skills.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and ability to work independently, but also as a part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail, experience using hand and electrical tools, and ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills, physical stamina and dexterity to move heavy equipment and supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of an apprenticeship is required.
The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering outstanding quality and innovation to our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
