Responsibilities:

  • Define system architecture and concept of operations for projects
  • Lead scope and requirement discussions with technical teams and customers
  • Develop and maintain system requirements and requirements traceability matrix
  • Acquire deep understanding of subsystems and ensure compatibility at system level
  • Identify and define system interfaces
  • Support customer design reviews and internal design reviews
  • Execute system integration tests
  • Define impact analysis for proposed changes to the system
  • Integrate applicable standards and provide support to projects

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years as a lead systems/design engineer
  • Extensive understanding of engineering lifecycles, delivery, and HW/SW integration lifecycle
  • Prior experience managing small-medium sized projects and project teams
  • Strong prior experience with Microsoft Office suite, requirements management systems, and product lifecycle management systems
  • Ability to acquire deep understanding of new technologies with minimal guidance
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving abilities

Desired Skills:

  • P.Eng for Ontario, CA
  • Experience with Construction/Civil Work and application standards
  • Expertise in High Speed Railways System, Power systems, EMI/EMC system integration, Automated control design, and Conventional signaling control designs

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
