As a Business Systems Analyst at Worldsource Wealth Management, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business systems. Reporting to the Director, Business Systems and Development, you will work in a fast-paced environment to provide Level II support, document requirements, manage releases, and conduct change controls. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with various departments and business lines to understand and document all business/systems requirements for existing systems, processes, and system implementations.
Responsibilities:- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize customer requests to ensure successful resolution.
- Set priorities for Level II problem resolutions, monitor progress, and apply escalation procedures as needed.
- Liaise with business areas and I.T. to evaluate and/or develop solutions based on requirements.
- Manage requirements gathering for scheduled upgrades, migrations, and approved projects.
- Analyze and evaluate the impact of application enhancements and/or updates.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new products and upgrades.
- Investigate and document system bugs (Defect Management).
- Work closely with various departments to understand and document business/systems requirements.
- Produce technical and descriptive documentation.
- Interpret technical and procedure manuals for non-technical users.
- Assist in training users in the use of applications and computer systems.
- Organize individual time, work, and resources to accomplish objectives efficiently.
- Demonstrate a rational and organized approach to work and identify development opportunities.
- Interact with the testing team and/or vendors to provide technical input, support, and analysis on applications.
- Participate in other corporate projects and initiatives as necessary.
Post-secondary education in Business or Information Technology is required. Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, and report writing with I.T. is essential. A strong knowledge of Adobe Design products and forms management, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, and Visio, is also required. Analytical problem-solving skills and experience in SQL and data warehouses are assets. Knowledge of Dataphile OpenView and Microsoft CRM Dynamics is also an asset. The ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and work in a team environment is essential.
