With an extensive network of 27 repair locations across the country, we manage a fleet of over 30,500 special purpose tank and freight cars. Our goal is to deliver high-quality services to our customers while providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Responsibilities:

- Perform tank car repairs, including brake tests, general running repairs, valve replacement/rebuilding, and tank car cleaning
- Conduct tank car re-qualification and jacking of railcars
- Switch railcars and perform confined space entry
- Modify top fittings and adhere to health and safety standards
- Participate in other related duties as required

Requirements:

- At least [X] years of experience in tank car repair and car cleaning
- Successful completion of four position fillet weld test: Vertical 3 G, Horizontal 2G, Overhead 4G, (plate thickness: 1/8 inch)
- WHMIS training and experience dealing with hazardous commodities
- NDT skills such as PLI, MPI, UTT, BLT would be an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in Canada
