Job Summary:

Safeway is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full-time) to join our pharmacy team. As a patient-centered care specialist, you will provide exceptional service to our patients, focusing on delivering top-quality care and exceeding their expectations.

About the Role:

As a Pharmacist (Full-time), you will be responsible for:

  • Providing patient counseling and education on new therapies, tailoring to the needs and concerns of each patient
  • Initiating care plans, following up, and completing proper documentation
  • Participating in professional programs and collaborating with colleagues to provide excellence in health & wellness services
  • Actively engaging in all areas of Fusion to ensure patients experience seamless care and a consistent pharmacy experience
  • Ensuring prescription safety and prioritizing technical functions to Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants as required
  • Maintaining current knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends/developments

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
  • Must be a Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing, in the province of responsibility
  • Injection and First Aid Certification
  • Kroll software experience is preferred
