**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Casualty Claims Specialist to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our Protect Claims department, you will be responsible for handling Bodily Injury claims, including litigated and non-litigated files.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Investigate and evaluate claims to determine liability and damages
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and third-party vendors
- Develop and implement strategies to resolve claims efficiently and effectively
- Collaborate with defense counsel to develop and implement strategies for litigated files
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to claimants and stakeholders
- Document and summarize file activity
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
**Requirements**
- 4-10 years of experience handling bodily injury claims, including general liability and auto tort liability
- Strong working knowledge of third-party liability claims and litigation
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Superior organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
