Cash and Credit Collection Position

**About the Job**
Air Creebec inc. is seeking a qualified Cash and Credit Collector to join its Finance and Accounting team. This role is responsible for various accounts receivable related tasks, ensuring timely collection of payments from customers.

**Job Summary**
We are looking for an experienced Cash and Credit Collector to manage our company's cash and credit operations. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. They will be responsible for opening new customer accounts, processing cash receipts, monitoring and collecting outstanding accounts, preparing reconciliation reports, and supporting the accounting team as needed.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage customer accounts, ensure timely payment, and maintain accurate records
- Process incoming cash receipts, update accounting systems, and reconcile discrepancies
- Monitor outstanding accounts, identify and resolve payment issues
- Prepare and review reconciliation reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with the accounting team on various tasks, including data entry, reporting, and budgeting

**Requirements**
- DEC in accounting or equivalent degree
- Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting or a related field
- Strong command of Office suite applications
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Bilingual (English and French) language proficiency
- Knowledge of Cree culture and language is an asset
