The Role

We are seeking a Part-time Cardiology Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic electrocardiographic procedures, stress testing, and other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform stress testing of Nuclear Cardiology patients under the supervision of a physician.
  • Provide the physician with a tracing of the patient's ECG, blood pressure, and heart rate before and during the Stress test.
  • Conduct tests in accordance with CSCT and KMH's protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Instruct or aid the patient on Stress testing and other equipment.
  • Apply independent judgment and critical thinking during the examination to ensure that all appropriate data is captured.
  • Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition and ensure the examination rooms are properly supplied, equipped, and operational.
  • Ensure that all equipment is well maintained and in good working order.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and other KMH staff to assist with patient care.
  • Attend team meetings and updates.
  • Maintain continuous professional development in ECG through self-study.
