Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Alliance Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, maintaining a high level of vehicle condition and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order.
  • Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
Requirements
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work extended periods and adapt to changing circumstances.
