As a key member of our sales floor team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store appearance, and supporting the overall success of our store.

About the Role:

  • Ensure a high level of customer service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Accurately process customer transactions using electronic cash registers and self-checkouts, ensuring a smooth checkout experience for all customers.
  • Replenish merchandise around the checkout area to maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing environment.
  • Follow up on hot selling items, complete markdowns and SKU changes as needed, and maintain planograms, labels, tickets, and signing standards to ensure optimal product presentation.
  • Perform cycle counts as required to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery products, as well as adherence to health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout work area, adhering to Loss Prevention best practices and ensuring emergency protocols are followed.

What You'll Bring:

  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building positive relationships with customers.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods, bend, twist, squat, lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.), and perform repetitive tasks requiring hand motions.

Schedule and Physical Demands:

A typical full-time schedule consists of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with 35-40 hours weekly. The physical demands of this position require standing and/or walking, bending, twisting, squatting, lifting and/or moving objects up to 18 kg (40 lbs.), and performing tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.

Estimated Salary: $15.50-$17.50 per hour, based on the location and job requirements.
