Job Summary

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Casual - Operator, Housekeeping Call Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating a centralized phone system, responding to requests, and ensuring timely communication with our patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  1. Operate a centralized phone system and computer to answer and/or transfer incoming requests to appropriate departments.
  2. Check incoming emails in dedicated email account and follow established procedures to respond and/or forward.
  3. Ensure that all requests are logged and documented according to established procedures and/or guidelines.
  4. Check status of requests to ensure response timelines are within established procedures and/or guidelines.
  5. Operate paging systems according to established procedures and/or guidelines.
  6. Respond to requests by prioritizing and evaluating request, according to established procedures and/or guidelines.
  7. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Grade 12 and one (1) year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Ability to keyboard 45 wpm, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, deal with others effectively, and physically carry out the duties of the position.
