We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Casual On-Call Crossing Guard. As a Crossing Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of students to and from school at designated public crosswalks.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and direct pedestrian traffic at designated crosswalks
- Report any incidents or concerns to the Principal or designate
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with staff and students
- Perform other related duties as required
- Grade 12 graduation preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of First Aid is an asset
- Good interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills
Casual/on-call shifts are 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday, while school is in session. Short-term assignments may also be available. Casual employment may lead to a regular position in the district.
Crossing Guard pay rate is $25.05 per hour, plus 20% in lieu of benefits.
