About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Ventona Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics operations of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans: Create and execute specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure smooth operation of our logistics operations.
  • Task Organization and Coordination: Organize and coordinate tasks to accomplish work efficiently and effectively.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the operational logistics of our organization, including planning and organizing operational logistics.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit reports to stakeholders, and ensure effective communication with other work units or departments.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure the effective operation of our logistics operations.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
  • Support for Diverse Groups: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics operations or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
