Data Administrator Job Description

Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Data Administrator to join our team. As a Data Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of our organization's data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within our IT infrastructure.
  • Database Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain computer databases to support business operations.
  • Data Security: Enact measures to prevent unauthorized access to our data.
  • IT Infrastructure Setup: Setup our IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models.
  • Support for Diversity and Inclusion: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, and Indigenous people.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in data administration or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent full-time position.
  • 32-40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
