About the Role:

Mike's Insulation Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As an Insulation Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of insulation materials in various construction settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as insulation blower machines.
  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs, and fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers.
  • Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials as required.

Requirements:

  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Basic security clearance and bondable.
