Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise the work of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Schedule staff according to event orders and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Evaluate and verify employee performance through regular reviews and feedback.
  • Conduct regular rounds to ensure compliance with directives and provide guidance to staff as needed.
  • Determine material and supply needs, complete requisitions, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Respond to public inquiries and resolve complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Complete work order requests and ensure safety plans are in place.
  • Assist with annual department budget preparation and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Minimum four years housekeeping experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Valid California driver's license.

Working Conditions:

The position requires walking and standing for most of the shift, with potential exposure to adverse conditions and hazardous substances. Irregular hours may be required.
