Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tetsu Sushi Bar. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure optimal food preparation and minimize waste.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Manage inventory, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and establish work schedules to optimize productivity.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • College diploma or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work, with a flexible schedule.
