Job Title: Powerhouse Operator

We are seeking a skilled Powerhouse Operator to join our team at Ecolomondo Environmental (Hawkesbury) Inc.

Job Summary:

The Powerhouse Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the powerhouse equipment, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the facility. This includes monitoring and controlling the power plant systems, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain powerhouse equipment, including generators, chillers, and cooling towers
  • Monitor and control power plant systems, ensuring efficient and safe operation
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner
  • Assist in the development of operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
  • Issue work and test permits to electrical and mechanical maintenance personnel
  • Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check
  • Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player skills
