Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front End Developer to join our team at CEI Fleet Collision and Safety. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using React, with exposure to Java, Spring Boot, and other modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop web applications using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Optimize the stack for performance, security, and scalability within new projects and existing code
  • Follow best practices and coding standards
  • Document code and functionality
  • Integrate with back-end services using RESTful APIs, JSON, etc
  • Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using JUnit, Selenium, etc
  • Work with our DevOps team to improve our CI/CD pipeline
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues
  • Contribute to creation and sustaining measurable and actionable development KPIs
  • Contribute to component library to ensure robust component-based framework

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or commensurate work experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a front-end developer, ideally full stack or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of React, HTML, CSS, JS
  • Must have worked with back-end integrations
  • Experience with web development tools such as Webpack, Babel, NPM, etc.
  • Experience with databases such as PostGres, MongoDB, etc.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git, SVN, etc.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, etc.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Preference given to candidates that write/use tooling to facilitate/streamline their work
