About the Role

At Allnorth, we're seeking an experienced Environmental Technician to join our team in Fort St. John, BC. This role will focus on ensuring environmental compliance on large-scale heavy civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement construction environmental plans
  • Conduct inspections for environmental compliance to relevant permits
  • Erosion and sediment control planning, implementation, and maintenance
  • Conduct soil and water sampling
  • Wildlife habitat assessments and sweeps

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or Technical Diploma in a related discipline
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Understanding of Federal and Provincial environmental regulations
  • Previous experience on heavy construction and earthworks projects
  • Future eligibility as a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) is an asset
