Grill Cook Position

Burger Baron is looking for a skilled Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. This includes determining the size of food portions and costs, planning menus, and estimating food requirements.

The ideal candidate will have secondary education and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field. They will be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Determining the size of food portions and costs
  • Planning menus and estimating food requirements
  • Requisitioning food and kitchen supplies
  • Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspecting kitchens and food service areas
  • Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Cleaning kitchen and work areas
