Job Summary:

The Water Truck Driver will be responsible for operating a water truck to transport water to customers. This will involve driving a truck, loading and unloading water, and performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a water truck to transport water to customers
  • Load and unload water from the truck
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the truck and its equipment
  • Relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Ensure all necessary certifications and licenses are up to date
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Basic security clearance
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
Working Conditions:

The Water Truck Driver will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work in a physically demanding role. The driver will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and will be working in a variety of weather conditions.
