Job Title: Senior Delivery Lead

Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Delivery Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of software development projects, ensuring timely and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver software development projects, ensuring timely and successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including project schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including product owners, business analysts, and technical leads.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality results.
  • Conduct regular project status updates, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project delivery.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software development project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects, with a focus on quality, timeliness, and budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Knowledge of Agile tools and methodologies, including JIRA and Confluence.
