**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled Software Systems Developer to join our team at Manitoba Hydro International. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software products to meet the needs of customers and internal engineering users.

**Job Summary:**

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced software developer to work on a variety of projects, collaborating with other members of the software products group to deliver high-quality solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software development principles, practices, and industry standards, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Design and develop software products to meet customer and internal engineering user needs.
  2. Work closely with other members of the software products group to ensure seamless project delivery.
  3. Develop and maintain software code adhering to established design standards, implementation processes, and documentation procedures.
  4. Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, planning, control, and decision-making related to software product development.
  5. Collaborate with other team members on project work and assist them as required.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A four-year degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Experience with C++, C#, Python, Git, Microsoft Foundation Class, and/or Microsoft .NET Frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SQL and XML database technologies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

**Salary:** The salary for this position is estimated to be between $53,708.63 and $71,974.54 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

**Location:** This role is based in Manitoba, Canada, and requires occasional travel to various locations.
