Senior Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our Internal Audit team at National Bank. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in ensuring the Bank's activities are conducted in a manner that is consistent with our values and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct audits of end-to-end processes in the Credit, International, and Commercial sectors to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement audit strategies that utilize data analysis to understand trends and detect anomalies.
- Assess internal controls and analyze issues to identify root causes in collaboration with relevant partners.
- Write findings and participate in the presentation of results to managers responsible for the processes examined.
- Monitor the progress of action plans stemming from the work of Internal Audit and from regulatory authorities, ensuring the quality of documentation.
- Maintain a relationship of trust with auditors from other internal audit teams, partners from the 2nd lines of defense, and external auditors.
You will be part of a team of 19 professional colleagues and report to the Senior Manager, Internal Audit - Credit, International, Commercial. Our team is known for its complicity, enthusiasm, and multidisciplinary skills. Requirements- Hold a university certificate and 7 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree related to the industry and 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the industry and 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working on several files simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership, strong ability to maintain relationships with internal and external Bank partners.
- Agile and results-oriented, with the ability to influence.
- Ability to simplify and synthesize information.
- Ability to analyze data and draw relevant conclusions.
- Knowledge of commercial products and services, notably payments.
- Knowledge of Basel regulations (Pillar I, II, and III).
