Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Captain to join our team at the City of Windsor. As a Fire Captain, you will be responsible for leading a team of firefighters and providing emergency response services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of firefighters in emergency response situations
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans
  • Conduct training and drills to ensure team readiness
  • Collaborate with other emergency services agencies
  • Perform administrative tasks related to fire department operations

Requirements:

  • University degree in Fire Science or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in fire service operations
  • NFPA 1021 Level III certification
  • IMS 200 and IMS 300 certifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency response environment
