Job Description for Painter at Bless Painting Ltd.

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Bless Painting Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and decorating, with experience in preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Paint Mixing: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, taking into account the specific requirements of each project.
  • Wallcovering: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise fit.
  • Colour Consultation: Advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings, taking into account their personal preferences and design goals.
  • Equipment Operation: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Paint Application: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, achieving a high-quality finish.
  • Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
