Marble craftsman

RevitaStone Granite & Quartz Countertops is looking for a skilled Marble Craftsman to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with marble.
• Mix, apply, and spread mortars, cements, mastics, glues, or other adhesives using hand trowels.
• Prepare rough plans and sketches for tile and stone installations.
• Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
• Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
• Prepare tenders and quotations for clients.
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
• Instruct apprentices in the art of marble craftsmanship.
• Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
• Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
• Supervise other workers to ensure a smooth installation process.
• Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
• Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
• Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
• Estimate costs and materials for each project.
• Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
• Install tile strips to complete the installation.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to distinguish between colors.
• Attention to detail.
• Hand-eye coordination.
• Large workload handling.
• Overtime required.
• Steel-toed safety boots.
