Job Title: Retail Business Manager

K2 MART BELLEVILLE is seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Business Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our gas station, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Hire and Train: Recruit and train new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Order Merchandise: Manage inventory levels, ordering merchandise as needed to meet customer demand.
  • Authorize Returns: Process returns and exchanges, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, promoting and selling merchandise to drive sales growth.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels, organizing and managing stock to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Retail business, on-site customer service.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, ability to multitask.
