At Le Marché du Village Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Department Head - Retail Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail business, ensuring that our stores are running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
  • Examine internal controls of the organization
  • Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Establish operational procedures
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a retail or operations management role
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams and driving business results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
