Job Summary

Virk Kitchen Cabinets Ltd. seeks an experienced Cabinetmaking Artisan to join our team. As a skilled craftsman/woman, you will be responsible for designing and building custom cabinetry for residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as necessary.
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products, preparing and applying laminated plastics where required.
  • Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products, achieving a high-gloss finish.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate or diploma is required, but a strong commitment to learning and professional development is essential.
  • You will have extensive experience in cabinetmaking and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for successful collaboration with clients and colleagues.
