Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Schell Motel.

About the Role:

This is a temporary full-time opportunity that involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our rooms, public areas, and other facilities. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay with us.

The ideal candidate will have no formal education but possess excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a dust-free atmosphere
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to keep our spaces looking their best
  • Make beds and change sheets to provide a fresh and clean sleeping area for our guests
  • Stock linen closets to ensure that linens are readily available for use
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain high standards of hygiene
  • Handle and report lost and found items to assist our guests in recovering their personal belongings
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide exceptional customer service
  • Provide basic information on facilities to our guests, including hours of operation and amenities available
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a tidy and organized environment
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to keep our facilities looking their best
