About the Role

Vidyard is a leading video platform that empowers businesses to create and share impactful videos. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in driving data-informed decisions by building predictive models, conducting statistical analysis, and deriving business insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions and implement high-impact projects
  • Present research and insights to executive stakeholders and connect analysis to key business decisions
  • Balance handling ad-hoc requests while driving larger projects forward
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in data science with a strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis
  • Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong statistical skills in A/B testing, analyzing observational data, and statistical modeling
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and analyzing complex data with SQL and other tools
  • Good business acumen and excellent problem-solving skills to translate business requirements to data science problems
  • Strong bias to action, delivering results quickly with iteration instead of waiting for perfection
  • Fast learner and comfortable with ambiguous requests
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder priorities directly
