About This Role

We are currently seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our pharmacy staff, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in medication preparation, maintaining compliance with regulations, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  1. Verify prescriptions and medications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  2. Count and reconcile narcotics and controlled medications.
  3. Maintain an organized workspace to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery routes.
  4. Protect patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Licensed and registered with the College of Pharmacists as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in good standing.
  • Liability insurance to practice as a RPhT.
  • A minimum of 1 year of continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment (Long Term Care, Hospital, or Retail).
  • Experience with high volume filling environments is preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail.
