Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Furniture Craftsman to join our team at SARVIN CONSTRUCTION INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality furniture and millwork for various projects.

Responsibilities
  • Study plans and specifications to determine the type of wood and materials required for each project.
  • Operate computer-aided design (CADD) software to create detailed designs and drawings.
  • Cut and assemble wood components using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Sand and finish wood surfaces to achieve a smooth, professional finish.
  • Assemble and install finished products in accordance with project requirements.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a cabinetmaker or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in a warehouse or construction site environment. You will be required to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods. Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles are mandatory.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between $40,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and a pension plan.
