Interior Decorator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Interior Decorator to join our team at SEHJAS HOMES LTD. As an Interior Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional interior spaces that meet our clients' needs and tastes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and prepare detailed specifications for projects
  • Develop 3-D models and detailed plans showing the arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting, and other fixtures
  • Consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and safety requirements
  • Advise on selection of colours, finishes, materials, lighting, furniture, and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards
  • Supervise staff or team members
  • Read blueprint, schemas, and drawings
Support for Diverse Groups:
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities
  • Provides mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and mature workers

Work Environment: Permanent position, 40 hours per week, English language, and a dynamic work environment.
