About this role:

At CANADA INC., we are seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, and reconciling accounts. You will also be responsible for preparing trial balances, journal entries, and other financial reports. In addition, you will need to be familiar with MS Excel, MS Office, and computerized bookkeeping systems.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical skills. You should have a strong understanding of financial principles and be able to work accurately and efficiently. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Prepare trial balances, journal entries, and other financial reports
  • Be familiar with MS Excel, MS Office, and computerized bookkeeping systems
