Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Equipment Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a long-term asset management strategy, ensuring maximum efficiency and ROI. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, and experience in asset management, planning, or a related field.

Responsibilities
  • Create and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy to optimize equipment utilization and minimize costs
  • Conduct equipment procurement and disposal, overseeing location and movement of equipment between business units
  • Monitor asset performance, including lifecycle and utilization, to identify areas for improvement
  • Analyze asset data and trends to forecast future asset needs and requirements
  • Prepare and manage budgets for asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal, identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending strategies to reduce expenses
Requirements
  • Related University degree or College diploma, Red Seal Trade Certificate; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in asset or material management, preferably in the equipment rental industry or construction equipment industry
  • Proven experience in asset management, planning, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction equipment maintenance, service department operational procedures, and safety standards
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, and asset management software
Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
