Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our restaurant.
    • Train and develop our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
    • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that it is a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Work with our servers and hosts/hostesses to ensure that our customers receive prompt and friendly service.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Manage the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet the demands of our restaurant.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and quality food. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and to walk frequently.
