The TalentSphere Staffing Solutions team is partnering with a dynamic consulting engineering firm to find a skilled Mechanical Engineer (EITs will also be considered) to join their Calgary Studio.

Role Overview

In this role, you will work on all phases of mechanical engineering for various building projects, ranging in size and complexity. You will collaborate with clients and external stakeholders, ensuring professional quality services throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with internal and external disciplines, including consultants and architects.
  • Ensure the technical accuracy of project deliverables and provide quality control during design and construction.
  • Prepare and review specifications and concept reports, as well as maintain project schedules and cost summaries.

You will also contribute to the design of building HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems, coordinate with Architects and project teams to ensure design requirements are met, and conduct peer reviews of engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications within the mechanical team.

Requirements
  • Registered EIT or Engineer with APEGA.
  • 6+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering with good knowledge and hands-on experience working with Canadian building codes.
  • Experience working with mechanical systems for buildings and thorough understanding of mechanical engineering concepts.
