About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team at IG Wealth Management. As a key member of our Corporate Communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic communications plans to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Relations: Develop and execute media relations strategies to secure media coverage and build relationships with key journalists and influencers.
  • Writing and Editing: Create high-quality content for various external and internal audiences, including press releases, media pitches, social media posts, and advisor-focused articles.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with the team to ensure campaigns and plans are executed on time and meet stakeholder needs.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in corporate communications or a related field, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to balance corporate tone with engaging storytelling.
  • Experience with media relations, integrated PR campaigns, and social media strategy.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Communications or Public Relations.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
