Job Description

">

As an Environmental Sustainability Lead at Ledcor, you will direct the environmental program for project works, overseeing auditing programs and ensuring compliance with environmental agreements. You will establish and maintain relationships with environmental authorities and stakeholders, and implement Construction Environmental Management Plans to ensure compliance with requirements.

">

You will also lead internal design reviews, develop mitigation and compensation proposals, and work with Indigenous Groups to address environmental protection and archaeological preservation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you must have 10+ years of senior management experience in major projects, including light rail transit construction in urban and undeveloped areas. You should hold an appropriately Qualified Professional designation and possess relevant federal and provincial permits experience.

">

You should also have demonstrated expertise in developing, monitoring, and auditing environmental practices and performance, as well as knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and industry practices.
