Job Title: Small Engine Mechanic

Cummings Small Engine Service is seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. As a Small Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing small engines, including garden tractors, gasoline-powered equipment, and lawn mowers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate repair costs and provide accurate quotes to customers
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts using hand tools and equipment
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment
  • Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience in small engine repair
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding work, including bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

The work environment is noisy, dusty, and may involve odors. Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, and tools are required.
