Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team at DRB CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist in various aspects of construction, including loading and transporting materials, assisting in framing and demolition, and cleaning up construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Participate in demolishing buildings and cleaning up construction sites
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Support the recruitment and training of newcomers and refugees, including those displaced by conflict or natural disaster
  • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and mentorship opportunities for Indigenous workers
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Permanent employment opportunity
  • English language proficiency
  • 30-40 hours per week
