Job Title: Retail Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart #0242. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispensing Medications: Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other healthcare professionals, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, advising customers on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions, and dosage.
  • Stock Management: Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other pharmacists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (PharmD, BS, BSc, BPharm)
  • Certifications: Certification for drug administration by injection and intranasal route, licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
